BLiNK! heads to northern California for performances at the Gallo Center for the Arts in Modesto, and the Sunset Center for the Arts in Carmel-by-the-Sea. This high energy shows stars Chipper, as well as special guest artists including the magic of Jade, comedy magician Oscar Munoz, and the grand illusions of Murray Hatfield and Teresa from Canada. STARS COME OUT TO CATCH CHIPPER!
During January, Chipper headlined the Palace of Mystery Theater at the world famous Magic Castle in Los Angeles for a full week. This exclusive club is the only one of its kind, providing an unusual evening of dining and entertainment to their members and specially invited quests. Rainstorms hit the southern California hard that week, but crowds actually rose at the Castle. (Saturday night they had to close their parking lot for a few hours due to the number of people attending.
Several celebrities caught Chipper's shows during the week, including Emily Blunt (Devil Wears Prada, The Young Victoria), John Krasinski (The Office, Away We Go), Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother), Gloria Allred (Celebirty Attorney), Moby (singer/songwriter), Tim Heidecker (Tim & Eric Awesome Show), Steve Valentine (Crossing Jordan), Aimee Mann (singer/songwriter), Michael Penn (singer/songwriter), and Stephen Merchant (Ricky Gervais' writing & producing partner for The Office, Extras, etc.) A very fun-filled week full of surprises to be sure!

COMEDY CELEBS CATCH CHIPPER'S SHOWS
In May, Chipper made his 18th appearance at the legendary Magic Castle, headlining the Palace of Mystery Theater. Many notable magicians and stars stopped by to catch his performances, including castmembers from "Family Ties" - Tina Yothers, Michael Gross, and Meredith Baxter Birney. Chipper also worked with Dave Attell, Loni Love, and Larry Miller at the Comedy & Magic Club, where comedy great, Fred Willard, caught Chipper's show for the first time. Chipper is a huge fan of Fred's, having grown up on watching "Fernwood Tonight" with Willard and Martin Mull. Fred loved the show - "How great you were! Really Funny! - Hope to see you again soon!" Wow, thanks Fred!

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW IN MAGIC MAGAZINE
Writer Mark Nelson cornered the comedian when he was last appearing at the IMPROV at Harrah's in Las Vegas, and conducted what became an extensive interview on "all things Chipper!" The "In His Own Words" article appears in the May issue of MAGIC Magazine and features not only some of Chipper's
unusual background in entertainment, but also his thoughts on improvising with audiences, and how to create highly original and funny theatrical stage routines.

APPEARANCE ON KRLT 93.9 FM
Chipper is currently appearing at the IMPROV at Harvey's/Harrah's casinos in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. He was asked once again to stop by KRLT's morning show with Howie Nave, along with fellow comedian Don McMillan, for a live interview segment as well as recording some additional segments to be aired over the weekend. This marks the 30th time Chipper has appeared on this particular radio station over the past 5 years! Thanks Howie and all you radio listeners!

TV PILOT TAPING
"Late Nite Snack", hosted by Legion Anders, made its debut tonight in Los Angeles. Two "Pilot" shows were taped before a live audience, and the guest line-up was eclectic and fun! Chipper appeared on the first show with both a stand-up spot and a sit-down "couch" interview with Anders. Other guests included Bobby Slayton, Jim J. Bullock, bartender and amazing "flair" juggler, Dean Serneels, and the incredible music from the cabaret funk band known as "The Toledo Show." Special thanks to everyone who participated! Made for a very fun evening!

Special Appearances at Comedy Clubs!
In addition to his touring show, BLiNK!, Chipper will also be making several special appearances at comedy clubs in California and Nevada.
He recently worked with Rocky LaPorte and the legendary George Wallace in Las Vegas at Harrah's casino's IMPROV, and is currently performing in Lake Tahoe at Harvey's IMPROV along with Mike Pace. Please check the CALENDAR section to the left for upcoming comedy club dates.

Hello, Canada! Eh?
Chipper is currently appearing in "Illusions, Magic N' Miracles" on a 24 city, 72 show tour throughout that awesome country to the north. Audiences have been fantastic, and it's been a pleasure to 'hang' with the other stars and cast and crew.

Chipper with Miles Faber. Miles was in the TOP THREE finalists of the Canadian television version of "So You Think You Can Dance?" So damn proud of him! Years earlier, Miles was a dancer on "Magic 'N Miracles" and even helped Chipper out on various comedy bits during his act. Watch out for him as this kid will be going FAR! Congrats Miles!!!

On The Count of Three....DRAW!
Artist Jay Shultz is amazing. He's been drawing his daily "Doodles" for a few years now and we're always pretty damned impressed with them. Jay created a cartoon version of "Binky - The Educated Turtle" for a new line of T-Shirts we'll soon be posting here on the website, and is one of the top artists over at Nickelodeon Studios. He stopped by during Chipper's recent performances at the Magic Castle in Hollywood, California, and thus spawned the above illustration.
