ALL NEW SHOW PREMIERING! SEPT. 7th & 8th! “STEP RIGHT UP! – True Tales & Fake Magic!”

Hi EVERYONE!

I keep thinking things will slow down a bit year after year.  I guess I’m forever optimistic, but at the same time, I’m also grateful for new adventures and creative challenges.   My folks passed away in 2020, just as the pandemic was in full swing.    The silver lining with everything closing down and my touring schedule cancelled was that I was able to spent each and every day with my folks during those final months.   After they were gone, the family had literally hundreds of cases and boxes to go through and organize.  And every day was filled with cool discoveries about their lives, their careers, and raising my brother and me.    We found so many photos, slides, and memorabilia sparking memories galore and hilarious stories and anecdotes as well.

Originally I had serious thoughts of writing a book about their lives and the fact that I was a second-generation performers as well.  But with everything we gathered I slowly realized that these stories belonged on stage.   And so with that, the new show was born!

In addition to the blend of family ‘showbiz’ stories and multi-media presentations, there is also a heavy dose of original comedy magic routines, fun-filled audience interaction, and tons of laughs.  The show is designed for age 18 and up, mature audiences, and promises to be a wonderful evening of theater!    The premiere takes place at The Curtis Theatre, in Brea, CA on September 7th and 8th, SAT & SUN — Evening and matinee performances.  Tickets are currently on sale, so make sure to grab your seats ASAP.   🙂

Finally, just a few weeks ago, I was gobsmacked to hear that I had once again been nominated for “Stage Magician of the Year!” by the Academy of Magical Arts (aka the “Magic Castle”) in Los Angeles, CA.   A good friend of mine received the award this year, which I was very happy about.  Bravo, Arthur!    This was the fourth time I’ve been nominated in the last 8-9 years, and I want to thank everyone who voted for me!   I’ll continue to create new pieces of magic, as it’s what I love doing the most, second to performing LIVE onstage.   Nothing but gratitude!!
