I’m excited!…
Let me explain.
In September of 2025, we premiered my newest show, which is an eclectic blend of family stories and hilarious magic moments throughout. The ‘stories’ were, to put it mildly, pretty unusual and offbeat. Why? Because my parents were circus performers, having met each other on Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus back in the 1950s, while they were both working on the show, touring across the country. Yep! My Dad was a professional circus clown and my Mom was an aerialist! And I wanted to capture what it was like being part of a ‘showbiz’ family that literally traveled around the world at least a dozen times while I was growing up. The tales are often hilarious and strange and 100% TRUE!
And best of all, I can bring the RECEIPTS! Meaning, this special show is filled to the brim with hundreds of photos as part of the production’s multimedia presentation, helping to bring all of these true damn funny anecdotes to life! It’s basically a love letter to my amazing parents and my own unusual upbringing, warts and all! And if that weren’t enough, there’s also a surprise mix of jaw-dropping stage magic and audience interaction layered on top! A pretty fun, wild roller coaster of a ride!
When the show first premiered, it received glowing reviews and standing ovations, which I’m so grateful for, as this project is extremely near and dear to my heart. And even with the amazing reactions, I still wanted to continue working on this theatrical piece, busy with rewrites and updates here and there, and even finding more personal family photos to share with audiences as the evening unfolds onstage.
So, I’m VERY excited to tell you that we were asked to present the show at the Haugh Performing Arts Center (at Citrus College, Glendora, CA) , as part of their 2025-2026 series, and we quickly said yes! They had caught the original production, loved it, and have been so incredibly supportive of this work. Such a joy to be able to bring this show to their beautiful venue this coming January of 2026. Yay!!!!!! 🙂
So, get your tickets as soon as possible! I promise you a most interesting, hilarious and heartfelt evening. One to remember for a long time.
