It’s hard to believe that I’ve been fortunate enough to be part of all five seasons of “Masters Of Illusion” on the CW network. And that we recently wrapped taping for season SIX this last January! For me it’s a fun and creative deadline, dreaming up all-new magic routines that also can be funny as well. Sometimes that’s a tall order for my brain, and there are seasons where you think it may never come together before we get to taping the actual episodes before a live, studio audience.
This 6th season was very much exactly that! I created the routines, but certain props and methods took longer than expected to build and figure out. One of the routines (I won’t spoil it for you) literally didn’t get finished until just two days befoere we taped! Talk about stress! But thankfully it all worked out, and we managed to squeeze in several rehearsals at home before we carted everything to the studios. Whew!
I rather proud of the magic routines for this particular outing. You’ll get a chance to see them once the new season starts airing over the summer on the CW, Friday nights. Stay tuned! 🙂
